Projects

A site-specific installation in Upper Market Gallery composed of found objects gathered from various parts of San Francisco. Each object is precariously balanced -nothing is secured, and everything relies on the tension and support of the others to remain upright. The structure exists on the verge of collapse, held together by interdependence. This delicate balance serves as a metaphor for the fragile systems we inhabit - ecological, social, and urban. The arrangement reflects my observations of San Francisco’s shifting microclimates, rapid architectural developments, and layered city views from elevated vantage points. These objects become stand-ins for the larger, often invisible forces that shape our lives, suggesting both vulnerability and resilience in the systems we move through each day.
